Condos generally have other services that you won’t typically find in a traditional single family home, like a doorman service, additional security clearances, and a front gate, so you’ll want to check into these and see what each potential new place has to offer you.
How is the property maintained?
When you’re looking at new condos for sale, you should also ask about the way they maintain the property. One of the advantages of living in a condo is that typically tenants are not required to take care of any of the lawn care or landscaping, so you can have the benefits of a well kept yard without having to do any of the work yourself.
Part of property maintenance is making sure that the interior and exterior of the buildings are all in good repair. Some of this will be the responsibility of the property owner, but some may be put on the tenants. New condominiums for sale should not need any maintenance or repaired right away, but you should make sure you’re aware of what you would be responsible for making repairs to should you decide to live in that community.
